The Moment is located at the crossroads of the provinces of Antwerp, Flemish Brabant and Limburg. A tourist interesting, historically significant and fascinating place.
The Abbey of Averbode is also one of the gates to the Merode area. That area arose when Prince de Merode sold 1,500 hectares of its forest and nature. Today it is a public park with a size that is unique in Flanders. You will walk through forests, fields, moors and fens. Each piece of nature offers you yet another adventure. Species that are struggling, in addition, find a safe home.
The Hageland, in the east of the province of Flemish Brabant, is the walking and cycling country par excellence.
Curious? Tourist information, walking maps, bicycle routes and more can be found in the Abbey Shop.
